Mission
Stanley Chin is a visionary leader in the Asian performing arts scene, with over two decades of experience in music, festival direction, and cultural development. As Artistic Director of UT Performing Arts Projects, he is dedicated to building creative platforms that connect talent with performance opportunities—true to UT Network’s tagline: “Crafted for Live Performance.”
He has created, directed, and held key leadership roles across numerous arts platforms, including serving as Production Manager of the Japan-Malaysia Legacy Concert, Artistic Director of the Asia Pacific Arts Festival (Singapore, Hong Kong-China, Cambodia, Malaysia) and the Chicago Music Competition in Vietnam, Artistic Consultant for the Taiwan International Classical and Traditional Music Competition, Festival Consultant for YEFF (Penang & Danang), Festival Director of AsiaTEF Bangkok, and a key contributor to the Malaysia Ukulele Festival and OnTour programs in Taiwan, Hong Kong-China, and Japan, among others.
Stanley holds an Executive MBA from IEMD, France, and a Bachelor of Music with Honours in Audio Production from ASWARA, awarded with the Rector’s Award. He is the President of the Persatuan Pencinta Muzik Ukulele Malaysia (PPMUM), a former KLPAC Orchestra Manager, and a respected adjudicator at both local and international competitions.
His work is rooted in creating sustainable, inclusive spaces for performance, education, and cultural exchange across Asia.
